Why Your Business Should Be A Member of The Benbrook Chamber of Commerce

With over 230 members working together to make the Benbrook Area a better place to live, work, and do business, the Chamber is a powerful voice for the business and professional community on critical issues, a vehicle for increased growth and prosperity for our members.  With the power of hundreds of members, the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce constantly strives to stimulate business, promote economic development, and build a better communtiy in the Benbrook Area.

The Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce is registered in the State of Texas as a private, non-profit corporation.  It is classified under the Internal Revenue Service non-profit tax code as 501(c) 6, the designation for business associations.  As such, it is not a charitable trust and membership investment and other payments from members to the Chamber are not deductible as charitable donations but may be deductible as a business expense.

Marketing Programs

Ribbon Cutting: This popular benefit is a $300 value of FREE advertising and is available to all members who invest at the commercial rate ($175) and higher. The event is lead by the chamber Ambassadors who, along with the chamber staff, will take a picture of you and your business or sign for publication in the Benbrook News & the Benbrook Star newspapers along with a description of your business and services.  Also, Ribbon cutting  picture and description in the BACC newsletter that is inserted in the Benbrook News, received by all members.

Internet Advertising: All chamber members will be listed in the search engine on the chamber website by category at no charge. If you are interested in banner ads or the many other opportunities available, please contact the chamber office at (817) 249-4451.

Chamber Connection Newsletter: The Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce newsletter is unique in that it is published once a month as an insert in the Benbrook News, circulation approximately 20,000. All new member businesses as well as all renewals are listed with contact information in the newsletter and are featured periodically as well to highlight new businesses, anniversaries, awards and honors, community involvement, or special categorical highlight sections.

Business Directory and Community Guide:  All chamber members will receive two listings in the Benbrook Community Guide (Membership Directory) both alphabetically and by category. The Guide is distributed to all chamber members as well as used as a resource by area newcomers, hotels and real estate agencies.

Networking Opportunities: As a resource for members to meet other members and have the chance to develop profitable business contacts, the chamber hosts several networking opportunities per month which may include Membership Luncheons & Eggs ' Issues Breakfasts, Business After Hours, seminars or other special events. Check the chamber newsletter each month for a listing of networking opportunities.

BACC Leads Group: The leads group is an incredible opportunity for chamber member businesses to acquire important business contacts and leads. The leads group meets twice a month to discuss what kind of business leads they are looking for and to exchange leads with one another. This opportunity is extremely beneficial in that it provides a type of search committee of at least 15 individuals who are continually looking out for profitable leads for your business.

FREE Advertising:  The Chamber, through the BWSA, distributes approximately 60 New Residents packets a month to new Benbrook residents.  Please drop off any of your business materials to the Chamber office, and we will include them in the packets as well as in our Visitors Center Area.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call the chamber office at 817-249-4451.
